Segre de Negre is a crime fiction festival held in Lleida, celebrating its tenth edition this year on May 29th and 30th. During these days, the city becomes a meeting place for authors and readers, with a diverse program combining literary and cultural activities.
The festival includes roundtables with writers, presentations, book signings, and special activities such as a theatrical literary tour through fictional crime scenes in the city and a family scavenger hunt set during an investigation. Participatory contests like #MicroNegre and #InstaNegre, which engage the public, are also held.
One of the highlights is the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award, which this year recognizes the writer Pep Coll. With an intense and accessible program, the festival offers a dynamic way to discover contemporary crime fiction and connect with its authors.
