Terrània Festival in Montblanc

In 2003, the proposal of local ceramists to hold an International Ceramics Festival in Montblanc became a reality. Terrània was presented as a pioneering event in Catalonia and in its first edition it managed to be a complete success thanks to the quality of the work exhibited and the large audience in attendance.

One of the objectives of Terrània is the discovery of artistic and decorative ceramics, a type of ceramics still unknown in this country, since when talking about ceramics it is normally related to traditional ceramics (household and transport utensils among others).

Terrània brings artistic ceramics to the visiting public through the sale of unique pieces by national, state and international ceramists, exhibitions of high-quality works spread across various locations in Montblanc, technical demonstrations by participating ceramists and directed ceramic workshops. to all audiences.
