Museu Fassina Balanyà L'Espluga de Francolí
Fassina Balanyà was a small family business that dates back to the 1830s.
During the tour, you'll learn about the importance of aguardiente production and trade in Catalonia. Using restored machinery, we'll explain the production process for obtaining aguardiente from grape fermentation and how the resulting byproducts are used.
La Fassina Balanyà is part of the network of industrial museums of the Territorial System of the National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (STmNACTEC).
