Sung Habaneras de Calafell

The most important groups from the habanera world will meet again in Calafell, on the occasion of the celebration of a new edition of the Cantada de Habaneras de Calafell.

This meeting is already an essential event of the genre and the most important in the south of Catalonia, as well as the only one that has the singularity of being held on two consecutive days. It is also known for being open to other musical genres, integrated into the so-called " tavern song ", which goes beyond the traditional habanera.

The performances are carried out in the sand of the beach, next to the monument to the Fisherman (Paseo Marítimo with Calle Mallorca).
