Griu Fair in Peramola
The Griu Fair returns to Peramola for another year!
A fair of crafts, gastronomy and local businesses, with different activities including storytelling, Dance of the Griu and Giants of Peramola, Dance of Canes, Clay Workshop (Ceramica Logama stop), live concert by the Quins Notes Group. There will also be the Jordi Pozo Photography exhibition at the Town Hall. It is celebrated on Good Friday.
The Fira is dedicated to the Griu, a mythological character that is part of the bestiary of the town of Peramola. The griffin is a ferocious and dangerous mythological creature that has the head and front legs of a giant bird of prey, with golden feathers, sharp claws, and a hooked beak. The muscular hind legs and tail are lion-like.
