FlorSeròs Experience

FlorSeròs Experience is a tourism initiative promoted by the Seròs Town Council to showcase the blossoming of fruit trees and the municipality's natural and cultural heritage. This project, created in 2020, aims to introduce visitors to the beauty of the agricultural landscape of the Baix Segrià region and highlight the value of rural life in the Lleida region. During the flowering season, the fields of almond, peach, apricot, cherry, and pear trees are transformed into a vibrant mosaic of colors and aromas, offering a unique natural spectacle.

Visitors can learn about the activities and experiences organized during this special time of year. Among the main offerings are guided tours through the flowering fields, led by local farmers and guides who explain how agriculture works, the life cycle of fruit trees, and the history of the region. These tours provide an opportunity to discover the work of the farmers firsthand and understand the importance of sweet fruit to the local economy and identity.

The routes combine nature, culture, and history. During the tour, you'll also visit important heritage sites within the municipality, such as the Bovalar archaeological site and the Avinganya Monastery, two places of great historical value that offer a deeper understanding of the area's past. These activities typically last about two hours and are conducted in small groups, with minibus transport between the different points along the route.

In addition to guided tours, FlorSeròs offers other complementary activities such as electric bike tours through the flower fields, yoga sessions in nature, wine tastings featuring local products, and cultural and sporting events. All of these offerings aim to create a complete experience that combines scenery, gastronomy, culture, and sport.
