Seròs

Province: Lleida | Shire: Segrià | Inhabitants: 1.867 | Extension: 85,8 Km2 | Altitude: 103 m

The Seròs Town Hall building stands in Plaça de les Escoles, a pleasant landscaped public space. The municipality, which is bathed by the Segre River, enjoys very varied and unique landscapes. It has a great cultural heritage, whose antiquity dates back to Prehistory and extends to the Baroque period.

Seròs Town Hall is located in a beautiful house with traditional Catalan architecture that presides over the pleasant and landscaped Plaza de las Escuelas.

The municipality, located to the southwest of the Segrià region, borders the Aragonese region of Baix Cinca and is bathed by the Segre River. Four protected natural spaces enter its territory (Seròs-Tossals de Montmaneu, Erms de Aitona, Aiguabarreig Segre-Cinca and Montllober ) that endow it with a great landscape richness that goes from the steppe and sub-desert habitat of Montllober to the fluvial one of the Segre-Cinca confluence.
