Don't miss the San Juan festival in Horta de Sant Joan!

The day will begin in Plaça de Misa with a refreshing activity for all ages. This will be followed by one of the most symbolic moments of the celebration : the arrival of the Flame of Canigó in Plaça de Catalunya.

The Flame will arrive accompanied by the grallers and drummers, who will fill the streets with music and announce the start of the shortest night of the year. This fire, renewed annually on the summit of Canigó and distributed throughout the territory, represents brotherhood, cultural continuity, and the unity of the Catalan-speaking peoples.

After the welcome, the Sagalets will be in charge of lighting the traditional Sant Joan bonfire. The fire will thus become the center of a gathering that keeps alive one of the most deeply rooted traditions of the festive calendar.

In the evening, the celebration moves to the Municipal Swimming Pools, where music takes center stage with performances by Los Gitanets and Payet Mauri. A lively event open to everyone, perfect for singing, dancing, and sharing a special evening with family and friends.

Admission is free, and everyone is invited to participate in this community celebration. It's an evening to take to the streets, reconnect with neighbors, and celebrate the arrival of summer with music, tradition, and local spirit.
