The Terra Alta region and the municipality where we are located, Horta de Sant Joan, boast a rich landscape and natural beauty, still unknown to many. We love showing our visitors the wonderful environment we live in because we are from here, born and bred—a local business. That's why we know firsthand the charms and virtues of this land. We are located in one of the districts of the Terres de l'Ebre, a designated Biosphere Reserve.

Montsport is located in Horta de Sant Joan, the starting point for most cyclists traveling along the Vía Verde (Greenway). We are situated at a strategic point on the route and in one of the most important tourist destinations in the area.

We have all types of bicycles available (mountain bikes, city bikes, fat bikes, e-bikes, etc.), all with gears, to make your ride more comfortable and enjoyable. We also have accessories for children and family bikes (2 adults and 2 children) or team bikes (4 adults and 2 children), so you can enjoy a unique family experience.

Canaletes is a stunning beginner canyon located in the Els Ports Natural Park. Water, rock, jumps… all the essential elements of canyoning come together in a single descent. Siphons, slides, low and medium-height jumps, large pools of crystal-clear water, an underwater section, boulder fields… A very complete canyon that offers a magnificent introduction to the world of canyoning.

Experience an adrenaline rush filled with excitement and nature. This program is designed for people looking to break free from routine and enjoy different and dynamic activities, perfect for sharing in a group.

For €75.00 per person and with a minimum of 4 participants, you can enjoy a weekend with activities such as canyoning, blind wine tasting, orienteering and hiking.

Bike & Wine

Enjoy a bike ride through vineyards and Mediterranean landscapes, surrounded by almond groves, olive groves, and dryland crops. An experience designed to discover the region in a relaxed, active, and authentic way.

The route can be done by conventional or electric bicycle and is adapted to the profile and needs of each group. After the ride, the experience continues with a visit to a winery and a tasting of wines from the Terra Alta Designation of Origin.

The price is €50.00 per person. The guide service has a supplement of €10.00 per person and requires a minimum of 4 participants.

The experience includes bike rental, a winery tour, and a wine tasting. Participating wineries are Vinyes del Convent, Herència Altés, Cal Menescal, and La Botera.

Cycle touring

Discover the Terres de l'Ebre by cycling on a weekend experience designed to enjoy the territory, nature and its most authentic landscapes.

The activity costs €108.00 per person and requires a minimum of 4 participants. Several two-day routes are available, such as the Vía Verde dels Ports to the Delta, a route through vineyards with wine tastings, or a tour of Els Ports with a stop at a winery.

All proposals can be tailored to the group's profile and preferences. We also offer advice on finding suitable restaurants along the route. Accommodation is not included.

Combi-Fun!

Enjoy an afternoon of adventure in Horta with an experience that combines aerial activities, a bike route and swimming in the Algars River.

The activity begins at the La Creveta Rural Adventure Park, with zip lines, bridges, obstacle courses, a climbing wall, and other multi-adventure activities. Afterward, the route continues by bicycle along the Green Way to the river, a journey of approximately 4 km. Depending on the season, you can also enjoy a refreshing swim in the Algars River weir.

The price starts at €25.00 per person, with a minimum of 4 participants. This includes equipment and supervision for the multi-adventure activities, bicycle rental, and helmet.

Cultural and Gastronomic

Discover the heritage and flavors of Terra Alta with a weekend experience that combines culture, history and local gastronomy.

The proposal includes a visit to the old town of Horta de Sant Joan, the Picasso sites and the Centre Picasso, as well as the Poble Vell of Corbera d'Ebre and the old town of Batea. The experience is rounded out with a paired lunch, an olive oil tasting, and a wine tasting.

Discover Horta de Sant Joan in a fun way with this family EscapeTown through the streets of the municipality.

Following in the footsteps of the young Picasso, you'll have to solve clues, riddles, QR codes, and videos to find a stolen painting. This activity is designed for families to enjoy while exploring Picasso's work and his connection to Horta.

The price is €60.00. An ideal experience for families, school groups, and lovers of adventure and discovery games.

Montsport Adventure

Enjoy an adrenaline-filled experience in Horta de Sant Joan, in the heart of Terra Alta, combining sport, nature and adventure in a unique environment.

The proposal includes a bike route along the Green Way, with bike rental, helmet and transfer, and a canyoning trip in the Els Ports Natural Park, with all the necessary equipment, guide, transport, insurance and photographs.

Each activity lasts approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Explore the Terres de l'Ebre Greenway at your own pace, without rushing and with complete peace of mind.

Enjoy a bike ride along the old railway line in the Zafán Valley and discover a natural environment declared a Biosphere Reserve. Along the route, you can stop for a picnic wherever you like, surrounded by nature.

The price is €35.00 per person and includes the bike tour along the Green Way and a picnic with a sandwich, water and a piece of fruit.

Romantic

Enjoy a weekend getaway with your partner surrounded by nature, tranquility and special moments.

This experience is designed to help you disconnect and discover the region in an intimate and unique way. It includes a tandem bike ride along the Green Way, a picnic lunch at Fontcalda, a romantic dinner, and a canyoning adventure to share as a couple.

Picasso Route

Discover the Els Ports Natural Park by following the route that Picasso took on a donkey during his stay in Horta.

The experience can be done with an electric or conventional bicycle and allows you to discover some of the most emblematic farmhouses of Els Ports de Horta until you reach the Cova Picasso, where the artist lived for a month with his friend Manuel Pallarès.

The price is €60.00 per person and requires a minimum of 4 participants. It includes the guide service, equipment rental, and entrance to one of the farmhouses.

Silver Travel

An experience designed for the senior tourist, ideal for enjoying Horta de Sant Joan calmly, with culture and nature.

The tour includes a guided walk through the town's streets to discover its medieval and Renaissance architecture, as well as traces of Picasso and his connection to Horta. A visit to the Picasso Centre is also included to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of this area in the artist's life and work.

Green Way & Blue Way

Enjoy the Terres de l'Ebre by land and water with an experience that combines cycling and kayaking in a unique natural environment.

The proposal includes a bike ride along the Green Way, from Horta de Sant Joan to Benifallet, and a kayak excursion on the Ebro River, from Miravet to Benifallet. It's an ideal activity for discovering the Terra Alta and Baix Ebre regions while enjoying sport in an area declared a Biosphere Reserve.

The price is €48.00 per person and requires a minimum of 4 participants. The approximate duration is 6 hours.

Optionally, you can continue by bicycle to Tortosa and enjoy the Lo Sirgador experience, with a supplement of €28.00 per person.

Green Route and Olive Oil Tasting

Via & Vino

Enjoy a combination of Green Way and wine tourism with a bike route from Horta de Sant Joan to Bot.

The route is approximately 10 km long and continues with a visit to the Cal Menescal winery, a place steeped in tradition where you can discover and taste their wines. Pick-up and return times to Horta can be adapted to the group's needs.

The price is €32.00 per adult and €24.00 per child. This includes bicycle and helmet rental, a visit to the winery, wine tasting, and return transportation for participants and bicycles to the starting point.
