Hotel Vall de Núria Queralbs

The Hotel Vall de Núria is part of the complex of the Basilica of the Virgin of Núria, one of the oldest places of worship in the country (its origin dates back to the year 700). In addition, history has wanted that in 1931 it became an emblematic point of Catalonia, since the first Statute of Catalonia, the so-called " Statute of Núria ", was drawn up here.

Access is by means of the rack railway (FGC) that leaves from the Ribes-Enllaç station and stops at Ribes-Vila and Queralbs (the last town with access by road).

This train transports us in the middle of the Núria Valley; on a route that allows us to calmly observe the beauty of the landscapes of the Cabeceras del Ter-Freser Natural Park.

Situation

The Vall de Núria Hotel is located on the southern slope of the Eastern Pyrenees of Catalonia, in the municipality of Queralbs (Girona), the last town that can be reached by car.

It constitutes the highest and most mountainous end of the Ribes valley, in Ripollès, surrounded by an imposing circle of ridges, commas and peaks, all close to 3,000 meters above sea level and forming the emblematic Olla de Núria.

The highest point is the Puigmal, 2,913 meters.
