Juneda
Located in the north of Garrigues, Juneda is the second municipality with the most inhabitants in the region. It is a town of medieval origin, conditions that are evident when you walk through the old town, especially through the so-called Vila Closa, a monumental urban complex made up of streets with a narrow and tortuous layout typical of medieval urbanism. Water is also the protagonist of this municipality: the Banqueta Park, where the Fourth Acequia of the Urgell Canal passes, right next to the town center, is a space that the inhabitants of Juneda have made their own and have turned into an excellent space playground for walkers, joggers and cyclists.
