Terres Travel Festival 2024
A new edition of the Terres Travel Festival in Tortosa is back!
The festival hosts productions that exalt the charm of travel, especially the discovery of natural environments, and that actively promote sustainable development.
Through LAB lands we want to explore the most innovative trends in the audiovisual representation of the travel experience.
The festival is held in Tortosa, the largest city in the Terres de l'Ebre, where 35% of the region is protected by two natural parks: the Delta del Ebro and Els Ports. This precious natural heritage is recognized by UNESCO with the Biosphere Reserve seal.
The festival has been distinguished with the prestigious EFFE recognition for its vocation of territorial structuring and its drive to promote creativity.
In 2019, Terres was recognized as a member of the CIFFT (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals). Since then, it has become the only member of the CIFFT in Spain.
The primary objective of the CIFFT is to preserve and promote awareness of audiovisual work in the tourism industry on an international scale. The festival has the endorsement of prestigious entities such as the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the European Travel Commission (ETC), the Central American Tourism Organization (CATA) and the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO).
