Roses Contest in Roda de Berà

Roda de Berà celebrates a new edition of the Roses Contest!

All those people, beginners or amateurs, from Catalonia who grow roses will be able to participate.

Regarding the first modality, the jury will take into account the beauty and health status of the rose. As for the second, the natural smell of the flower will be valued. For each one, a first prize of 75 euros will be awarded, a second of 50 euros and a third of 25 euros, and a Garden Pagès rose bush for all of them.

The jury will also award a special prize for the best rose of all those presented, with 75 euros and the honor of being part of the jury for the third edition of the contest. This prize may coincide with the winners of both modalities.

Greenhouse roses, those that use a spray to modify their smell or roses grown by professionals, as well as those that do not meet the requirements demanded by the organization, will not be admitted to the contest. Each contestant may present a maximum of 10 roses per modality.
