Living Crib of La Pobla de Montornès
The Pobla de Montornès Nativity Scene is a moving and talking nativity scene with period, traditional costumes and recorded music. The representations of the Living Crib of the Pobla de Montornès began in 1976, under the organization of the cultural entity Amics de Montornès and with the disinterested participation of many people from the town.
The Living Crib of La Pobla de Montornès is made up of 15 basic paintings and a few more complementary ones. A combination of biblical scenes with paintings from the popular Catalan tradition; a jewel that invites everyone to come and visit it and enjoy this Christmas show.
The Pobla de Montornès Crib is one of the most traditional in Catalonia and has become the icon of the municipality, projecting the town beyond the region.
