Feast of Corpus Christi in l'Ametlla de Mar
For many years L'Ametlla de Mar has adorned the streets with the traditional Corpus Christi rugs.
After several weeks collecting flowers, the La Cala neighborhood groups that are in charge of making the Carpets, get to work all Saturday night, so that they can visit each other all Sunday.
It is a tradition that around 7 pm, when the Corpus Christi procession is celebrated, the boys and girls who have made their First Communion this year pass over the rugs.
A tradition that year after year makes more and more visitors come to this municipality to enjoy this event.
