The Little Festival of Altafulla

September arrives accompanied by the Fiesta Mayor La Pequeña de Altafulla!

The first few days will feature activities for all tastes, such as the traditional climb to the Hermitage, guided tours of Villa Closa, exhibitions, a giant water slide, sports tournaments, and comedy shows. Sunday will also include street art, the Baixada de Trastos (a traditional game parade), a popular vermouth gathering, open access to the swimming pool, and an afternoon of children's games.

As the week progresses, popular culture will take center stage. The Little Devils, the Castellers of Altafulla, the Bastoners, the Giants and Dwarfs, and the Grallers will participate in various events, parades, and exhibitions. The evening of September 10th will also include a community dinner and music to keep the festivities going into the afternoon.

On September 11, coinciding with the National Day of Catalonia, there will be a floral offering, a solemn mass at the Hermitage of Sant Antoni, a human tower performance, a sardana dance and a parade through the streets.

The final weekend will complete the program with nature activities, family-friendly events, a new human tower festival, a youth festival, and other cultural and sporting events.

A few days to discover Altafulla in the midst of its festivities and enjoy a celebration that combines heritage, tradition and the atmosphere of late summer.
