April Festivities in Horta de Sant Joan
Horta de Sant Joan celebrates the traditional April Festival once again!
The April Festival is always celebrated on the first weekend after April 21st, in commemoration of one of the miracles of Sant Salvador (he made it rain after a long period of drought).
Horta's April Festival offers a packed program of activities for all tastes and ages. With activities that combine tradition, culture, and fun, the town becomes a vibrant and participatory space. Activities range from popular tournaments and children's snacks to plays designed for the little ones.
The festival also includes parades, giants, and correfocs (fire runs) that fill the streets with music and color. Highlights include the procession with mass, the paella competition, painting exhibitions, and musical performances with an orchestra and disco. Plus, there's a tribute to the town's elders, and much more!
Don't miss it!
