The Altafulla International Film Festival (ALT IFF) was created with the aim of placing this town on the Costa Dorada on the map of the film industry, combining cinema with values linked to water culture and the protection of the marine environment.

The festival program includes national productions in Catalan and Spanish, as well as international works in various formats, distributed among the different sections of the event: the Official National Section, the Hydra Section, the Altafu IA Section, the Children's and Youth Section, and Focus Tarragona. In parallel, the festival's Industry Zone, encompassing Industry Waves, Hydra Talks, and the Hydra Short Film Script Competition, will offer activities and content specifically geared towards industry professionals.

II Hydra Short Film Script Competition

The Altafulla International Film Festival (ALT IFF), within the framework of its HYDRA Section, focused on water culture, maritime sustainability and ocean biodiversity, announces the II HYDRA ALT IFF 2026 Screenwriting Competition with the aim of promoting the creation of stories committed to the environment.

Cash prize: €500.
