Courtyards of Cordoba, Alhambra of Granada and Camino del Rey, caves of Nerja

Day 1 - BARCELONA - GRANADA - LOJA  

Departure from Barcelona by AVE train to Granada. Arrival and lunch in a restaurant. Panoramic tour of the city of Granada, capital of the last Muslim kingdom, which houses magnificent monuments from the Arab era and the stately character of its houses and palaces give it a special attraction. Leisure. Transfer to the hotel located in Loja, accommodation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2 - GRANADA AND THE ALHAMBRA

Breakfast. Transfer to Granada for a guided tour of the city. Located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, Granada enjoys one of the greatest cultural heritages among which, in addition to the Alhambra and the Albaycín neighborhood, its Renaissance Cathedral, the Royal Chapel, the Monastery of La Cartuja or that of San Jerónimo with its museums and gardens. Lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the Alhambra of Granada (entrance included) with the Generalife and Alcazaba Gardens. Does not include the Nasrid Palaces. Back to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 3 - THE CAVES OF NERJA - FRIGILANA

Breakfast. In the morning we will move to the Costa del Sol to visit the town of Nerja, a famous tourist town where the series "Verano Azul" was filmed. We will see the Balcón de Europa passing through its shops and typical neighboring alleys and we will visit one of the Wonders of the region, the famous Nerja Caves (entrance included). Located 158 meters above sea level and 4,823 meters long, it is one of the most spectacular caves on the peninsula, declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 2006. Lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the town of Frigiliana where we will discover the main monuments such as the Palace of the Counts, the Town Hall, the old fountain or the church of Sant Antoni. We will walk among the white houses and steep streets of the Moorish neighborhood. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 4 - EL CAMINITO DEL REY - MÁLAGA

Breakfast. Departure to enter the province of Malaga to reach the Caminito del Rey, a pass built on the walls of the Gaitanes gorge through which the workers of the construction of the waterfall at the beginning of the 20th century in the Guadalhorce river once accessed.. We will take a panoramic tour along the walkways (entrance included) in an environment of great beauty that has become famous since its rehabilitation and that has now become an essential visit in the province of Malaga. Lunch. In the afternoon we will visit Malaga, a beautiful coastal city, birthplace of the genius Pablo Ruiz Picasso. Of its historical-artistic heritage , the Roman and Arab cities stand out with the Roman Theater and Alcazaba, Plaza de la Constitución, Cathedral of Santa María de La Encarnación “La Manquita”, Episcopal Palace, Church of the Sagrar and various cultural establishments that form an interesting set. Back to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 5 - CÓRDOBA: MOSQUE AND PATIOS OF CÓRDOBA

Breakfast and departure to Córdoba, a beautiful city declared a World Heritage Site. The historic center is made up of narrow streets, squares and patios located next to the Mosque and the Jewish Quarter. Upon arrival we will visit the impressive Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba (entrance included), which is the most important monument in Córdoba as well as the most emblematic of Hispanic-Muslim art and which is declared an Asset of Cultural Interest and Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Next we will have free time to tour the renowned Patios of Córdoba. On these dates, the city has been organizing a patio competition called "Los Patios de Córdoba" for almost 100 years, in which the owners decorate their homes, balconies and especially interior patios with abundant flowers, forming authentic works of art and aspiring to achieve the first prizes of the contest. At the same time, various performances by singers and dancers give more color to the party. To enjoy greater freedom when visiting the Patios, Lunch that day will be a hotel picnic. In the afternoon, at the agreed time, we will begin the trip back to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 6 - LOJA - GRANADA - BARCELONA

Breakfast. In the morning we will have free time in Granada. Lunch and transfer to the train station to take the AVE in Barcelona. Arrival and end of the trip.
