Guided visits to the Clock Tower and the Cal Puigjaner Cultural Center
The Olesa de Montserrat Town Council has reactivated guided tours to bring the city's historical and cultural heritage closer to its residents, thanks to an agreement with the Olesa-based organization Arrel Acció Cultural. The Clock Tower and the Cal Puigjaner Cultural Center will be the spaces that can be visited with these new guided tours, which aim to highlight the municipality's heritage.
On the first Sunday of each month, you can visit the Clock Tower, which is municipally owned and has the characteristics of a defensive tower and, in medieval times, was associated with a castle-like structure.
And, on the last Sunday of the month, it will be the turn of the Cal Puigjaner Cultural Center. This former manor house, clearly a 16th-century house, despite its subsequent renovations. This tour will not only focus on its history and the content of the exhibitions it houses, but will also explain the growth and expansion of Olesa throughout its history.
Registration will open the Monday before the visit through the Vivetix de l'Arrel account, and it is recommended to reserve a spot in advance, as capacity is limited.
We look forward to seeing you!
