Paragliding flight: Figuerassa Viewpoints and Queralt Sanctuary
La Figuerassa can boast of being one of the best viewpoints in Catalonia. From here, 1500 meters above sea level, you can enjoy spectacular views of the Sierra del Cadí-Moixeró, the Baells reservoir and the entire lower Berguedà. The view extends to Montserrat, already in Central Catalonia.
It is from this privileged place where we will take off.
The site, due to its orientation and orography, is ideal for practicing free flight. Air currents and thermals allow you to float safely over the relief. Mid-flight we will fly over the Queralt Sanctuary, an emotional place with a strong religious but also cultural and sporting connection.
Finally, we will land at the Avià municipal landing field.
This one wants to have it all. A noble and spacious natural takeoff, good views and dizzying height.
A very complete activity that guarantees to experience the pleasure of free flying and with a little luck fly close to the kings of the sky, the vultures.
The flight, on a normal day, lasts about 20-25 minutes but depending on the conditions of the day it can be extended to beyond 30 minutes. Can you resist it?
