Paragliding flight: Rasos de Peguera
Discovering the paragliding activity flying from the old ski resort of Rasos de Peguera is doing it through the front door.
To begin, you need to walk for about 25 minutes along the old ski slope of Les Soques. A good climb to warm up the joints and begin to adapt the heart and eyes to strong emotions. Walking for a while to access a takeoff still makes the activity more attractive.
The takeoff is wide and with fantastic views of Central Catalonia.
The flight is a wild and solitary journey, we will most likely share moments with vultures or a pair of Egyptian vultures. Surrounded by the best views of Castellar del Riu and Espinalvet, you fly over two of the classic family peaks of Berguedà, Roc d'Auró and Cim d'Estela.
In minimally favorable weather conditions, the route continues to Serra de Lladres, enters the municipality of Capolat and lands at the municipal landing of Avià, but if desired it is also possible to land right next to the Pi de Les Tres Branques, the symbol of the unity of the Catalan Countries.
