Guided tour of the exhibition 'Ossos. A journey to medieval times through physical anthropology.
The guided tour of the exhibition will offer an approach to the living conditions of the population between the 8th and 15th centuries through human remains from archaeological excavations of various Catalan churches.
Thanks to various techniques of forensic osteopathy (study of human bone remains) and paleopathology (study of ancient diseases) the people participating in the visit will discover aspects related to jobs, lifestyles, food, medicine and health, justice, violence and the experience with death. Precisely, the Ossos exhibition also collects some objects related to death from the excavations in the church of Sant Iscle.
