Montoliu de Lleida
The premises of the Montoliu de Lleida City Council are located in a beautiful stone house located near the Church of the Nativity. The municipality has very varied landscapes in which irrigated fields in the north coexist with dry land in the south.
The municipality is located in the center of the Segrià region, there are only ten kilometers south of the city of Lleida. It enjoys a very varied landscape. To the north, next to the Segre and Set rivers, there are abundant fields of fruit trees irrigated by the Urgell canal and the historic Torres irrigation canal. In the south, with landscape characteristics more typical of the Les Garrigues region, dry land predominates.
The main population center is the homonymous town of Montoliu de Lleida, where you can visit the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, built in the 18th century. In the unpopulated area of Tabaco, to the south of the municipality, there are several archaeological sites.
