Casa Estapé (Cubelles)

Located in Cubelles, Casa Estapé is one of the most representative examples of the Noucentista architecture of the 1940s in the town. Built in 1943 for Dr. Francesc Estapé Pañella, this elegant residence stands out for its unique architecture, ornamental details, and the harmony between the different volumes that make up the whole.

The house occupies a prime location, on the corner of Narcís Bardají Street and Station Street, an area that connects the historic center of Cubelles with the more modern part of the town and the train station. This location allows the building to present two distinct facades, each with architecturally interesting features.

Casa Estapé is a detached building surrounded by a garden, consisting of a main section with a ground floor and an upper floor. Its Arabic tile roof, with an elaborate arrangement of ceramic pieces, is one of the building's most distinctive features. A square tower stands out from the rest of the structure, rising one level above the building and crowned with a hipped roof, lending elegance and verticality to the house's silhouette.

The façade facing Estación Street features a ground-floor gallery with an upper terrace and balustrade, while at the corner of the two streets there is a pergola that maintains the same aesthetic as the rest of the building. These elements reinforce the residential and stately character of the building.
