Escaldes-Engordany is the parish of the thermal water. It is made up of two urban centers: Engordany, the oldest, and Escaldes, the most modern part, oriented towards tourism and commerce.
One of the largest natural spaces in the Principality, a must-see for nature lovers, is in this parish, the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley, an environment declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the category of cultural landscape.
In Escaldes-Engordany you can enjoy a wide cultural offer, unique museums such as the Perfume Museum, the Carmen Thyssen Andorra Museum, the Escaldes-Engordany Art Center and the Espai Caldes.
Vivand is the main commercial axis of the area that brings together more than 200 shops, restaurants and hotels. A space for commerce, leisure and culture where you can enjoy a large outdoor shopping area.
With regard to thermal water, they have had this natural resource since ancient times and it is present in the urban area, with public fountains and spa hotels. The thermalism culminates with the already well-known Caldea, the largest spa in southern Europe designed to enjoy the well-being and relaxation provided by these hot waters.
