Ornithological event in Samà Park: "La festa dels falciots"
At Parc Samà, a 14-hectare outdoor Historical Garden in Cambrils and one of the greatest representatives of romantic gardening, we celebrate "La festa dels falciots" on May 18 and 19. It is an ornithological weekend where different activities will be carried out, including:
Saturday May 18, 2024:
From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: ornithological workshops for the whole family.
In the heart of Samà Park and surrounded by ancient trees, you can enjoy an ornithological workshop designed for the whole family. We will know which are the largest and smallest birds in Catalonia, we will learn what the beaks of each bird are used for, we will see what the eggs of different species are like and we will enjoy learning many curiosities about these beautiful leaded animals, while we listen to the blackbird in the background, the griva or the brush.
An activity designed for the little ones in the house!
Sunday, May 19, 2024:
From 10:00 a.m. Guided ornithological tour of the park - Let's get to know the birds of Samà Park.
From 12:00 p.m. with a guided ornithological tour of the park - Let's get to know the birds of Samà Park.
At 1:00 p.m. - Release of recovered birds, in Parc Samà, with the corps of rural agents.
The activities do not require prior registration and are free activities with admission to Parc Samà.
