Concert of music from Els Pastorets de Berga - 125 years!

Since its beginnings in 1900, Els Pastorets de Berga have been inextricably linked to the music that Ramon Reig (nephew of Joan Reig i Moreta, organist of Berga at the end of the 19th century) composed from the texts of Serafí Pitarra.

Included in the celebrations of the 125th anniversary of Els Pastorets, we felt it was only right to highlight the music that accompanies the work through a concert where all the music that Reig composed for our Pastorets will be played, after many decades without doing so, mostly in the arranja and chamber orchestra.

In addition, some pieces that are no longer part of the current performances of Els Pastorets will be recovered and we will be able to hear several premieres, including two angel songs arranged by Ricard Cuadra that were thought to be lost until a few months ago.
