Special Olympics Granollers 2023
Granollers is the headquarters of the new edition of the Special Olympics Games that will be held from March 30 to April 2.
This event will replace the Catalan Championships in the modalities of: cycling, athletics, tennis, handball, paddle tennis, gymnastics and petanque.
The Olympics are organized by the Catalan Sports Federation for People with Intellectual Disabilities (ACELL), Special Olympics Catalunya (SOCat) and the Granollers City Council. The capital of Valles already hosted the 4th edition of the Games in 1994.
Special Olympics Catalunya is a sports group whose main objective is to promote the practice of sport and other leisure activities by people with intellectual disabilities, as a way of personal development and social integration.
