Guided tour: Voices of the Pacific at CaixaForum
From November 13, 2025 to February 8, 2026.
Over the centuries, Oceanian cultures have developed a wide variety of everyday and ceremonial objects that reflect their creativity and resilience. Connected by the Pacific, these islands have found in the ocean both their nourishment and a source of artistic inspiration.
The exhibition "Voices of the Pacific. Innovation and Tradition" features more than two hundred pieces, both ancient and modern, including sculptures, clothing, ornaments, and tools. Organized into seven sections, the exhibition highlights the skills and traditions of the peoples of the Pacific.
The tour is led by an educator who, through dialogue with the participants, presents the key themes of the exhibition, contextualizes them, and addresses any questions or concerns that may arise.
