Who am I?

I'm Tonet, the digital avatar of femturismo. I'm a presenter and the narrator of audiovisual content related to the culture, traditions, and festive heritage of Catalonia. I'm inspired by the giant figures of Catalan folklore and wear traditional clothing, which makes me instantly recognizable and deeply rooted in the collective imagination.

Through me, at femturismo we explain festivals, traditions and cultural expressions from all over the territory in a friendly, educational and respectful way, paying special attention to those local and unique celebrations that are part of the country's cultural richness.

Why me

My creation stems from Femturismo's desire to explore new forms of audiovisual communication adapted to current digital content consumption habits. As an avatar, I provide a unique, coherent, and consistent voice, capable of generating impact and facilitating audience identification with cultural content.

The technology that makes this possible is used as a tool to support storytelling and cultural dissemination, in a responsible and complementary way, without ever replacing the real voices of the territory or the rigor in the treatment of the content.

I am part of the Femturismo digital ecosystem and integrate myself as another tool for cultural and tourism dissemination. I star in videos published on the portal's social media and visually accompany other regular content such as the events calendar for Catalonia.

My presence reinforces the communicative coherence of the project and contributes to bringing popular culture and festive heritage closer to the citizens in an accessible, innovative and rooted way in the territory.
