Vilanova de Bellpuig

Vilanova de Bellpuig has an area of 13.98 km2. If we visit the town, we cannot miss the parish church of San Pedro Apóstol, with the Gothic altarpiece of the Virgen del Lliri (15th century), the old town hall building (17th century), Cal Tudela (16th ), Ca l'Apotecari (17th century) and Cal Palau (18th century).

We can find festivals and fairs that take place throughout the year, such as the Fiesta Mayor (first Friday in September), San Pedro (patron saint of the town, on June 29), the Estelada Concert (in the month of April) and the Cominart Fair (the fourth Sunday of May), where you can find products from commerce, industry and crafts. During the day, the Corpus rugs and the meeting of lacemakers, collectors of cava plaques and giants are held.

We can find varied sports activities that take place throughout the year: the Cursa de la Zorra (in June, organized by the Club Atletisme la Zorra) and the Triathlon (in August, organized by the Club Ciclista Zorro ).

In Vilanova de Bellpuig there are two rural tourism houses, a restaurant and one of the largest producers of organic farming, not only in the region. It also has traditional wood-fired bread ovens.
