Video mapping the Light of the Ebro in Tortosa
La Luz del Ebro is a permanent outdoor video mapping installation. Unique in the State, with regular screenings every weekend.
Tortosa has a privileged history that this unique video mapping brings to us in a shocking way. The location where the cathedral is today is a space in which life has pulsated since the very origins of the city.
It is the same place where the Romans built the main temple of the forum, later the Visigoths converted it into their religious center and, in turn, the Andalusians built an impressive mosque with 5 naves, which was succeeded by the Romanesque cathedral to, for example, Lastly, the current Gothic cathedral was built with its impressive baroque façade. All these buildings will rise again thanks to the magic of mapping.
The projections are adapted according to the time of year and the sunset.
- January, February and March: Friday and Saturday at 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. (Days without screening: March 23, 29, 30, and 31).

April and May: Friday and Saturday at 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

June and July: Thursday (from June 29), Friday and Saturday at 10:30 p.m., 10:45 p.m. and (from June 29) 11:00 p.m.

August and September: Thursday (until September 7), Friday and Saturday 10:00 p.m., 10:30 p.m. and (until September 7) 11:00 p.m.

October, November and December: Friday and Saturday at 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Extra passes on December 5 and 7, at 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Additional passes on the eve of holidays during the corresponding month and rest during religious festivities (Easter and Christmas).
