Discover the Museum of Work and Living Industry (MTIV)!
The Museum of Work and Living Industry, located in the Aranyó Steam Factory, is a symbol of industrialization in the municipality of Santa Perpètua. The facility is located in the town's old town and, architecturally, consists of two L-shaped naves and other heritage spaces that are part of the building's visit: the boiler room and the chimney. It also has a temporary exhibition hall, the Lançadora Room, and two multipurpose rooms, the Telers Room and the Filadora Room, where all kinds of cultural events are held.
The Vapor cultural center, in addition to being the main headquarters of the MTIV, also hosts the annual Efímera program in the Sala Telers, with a proposal of professional artistic performances in theater, music, dance, and its family version, Efímera Quitxalla.
The Museum of Work and Living Industry (MTIV) has two radial locations in two of the most emblematic and unique heritage buildings: La Granja Soldevila, open the first weekend of the month, and the rectory of the church of Santa Maria de Santiga, open the second Sunday of the month.
