Rasquera

Province: Tarragona | Shire: Ribera d'Ebre | Inhabitants: 966 | Extension: 51,3 Km2 | Altitude: 174 m

Rasquera is located in a privileged environment, to the left of the Ebro river and at the foot of the imposing Cardó-el Boix mountain range, an emblematic space full of history and landscapes of great interest, which can be discovered through routes. The visit to the population is equally attractive. In the old town there are still samples of the medieval past of the city (remains of the castle, porches, the old prison, etc.) and traditions, such as its famous confectionery or the crafts of baskets and palm baskets that, despite the passage of time, is still preserved.
