Puigpelat
The Municipality of Puigpelat is located in the central plain of Alt Camp, between the Gaià and Francolí rivers, on top of a hill that gives it an excellent view of Camp de Tarragona. Access to the town is via the TV-2034 road, which connects the regional road that joins Valls with El Vendrell and the road that goes from Pont d'Armentera to Tarragona. The population of Puigpelat has increased considerably in the last 10 years, going from a population of 469 inhabitants to the current one of 786 registered people. The main activity of the municipality is agriculture, the vineyard is the main crop, followed by almond trees, olive trees and hazelnut trees, but lately important industries have also been installed.
