Province: Tarragona | Shire: Terra Alta | Inhabitants: 198 | Extension: 26,4 Km2 | Altitude: 363 m

Prat de Comte is the smallest municipality in Terra Alta, a haven of rural peace and tranquility where numerous excursions can be made to get to know the Els Ports Natural Park. The Town Hall occupies the building that used to house the oven where the richest inhabitants of the town made bread.

The town hall occupies the building where the oven of the richest inhabitants of the town was once located. The one for the poor was the Morruno oven, one of the town's most interesting points, recently converted into a brandy distillery, one of the town's traditional activities.

Prat de Comte is the first municipality found in Terra Alta coming from Tortosa or Móra d'Ebre. It is the gateway to the Els Ports massif, a spectacular natural area that can be discovered by making a previous visit to the Visitor Center located in the municipality.
