Pontós
Pontós is a municipality in the Alt Empordà region, province of Gerona. The municipal term has an extension of 13.54 km2 and is located at 94 meters of altitude. It limits to the north with Ordis and Borrassà, to the east with Garrigàs, to the south with Bàscara and Vilademuls, and to the west with Navata. The neighborhood of Romanyà de Empordà is part of the municipality of Pontós. Pine, holm oak and oak forests and farmland define our natural environment. The diversity of historical remains allow us to follow the history of Pontós from the Iberian period to the present day.
