Paüls

Paüls is one of the gateways to the Natural Park of Els Ports, therefore, the term is mountainous and rugged (ravines, abundant sources and jets). The municipality belongs to the Baix Ebre region, it has an extension of 43.83 km and a total of 545 inhabitants.

The town is located on a loft, at the foot of the castle. Its streets are staggered, narrow and steep. The houses of the town are built on a very steep slope, which means that they often communicate with streets located at the level of two different floors, constituting a harmonic and extremely steep slope.
