Palol de Revardit

Palol de Revardit is one of the 11 municipalities that make up the Pla de l'Estany region, and is located to the southeast of the region (see location). The municipality of Cornellà del Terri is its neighbor on the north side and Sant Julià de Ramis and Medinyà, already from Gironès, partially border it on the south side; Canet de Adri limits it on the west side.

The union of three villages, Palol, Riudellots de la Creu and La Mota form the municipality of Palol de Revardit, which has a total area of 18.28 km2 with 487 inhabitants.

The whole of this territory has had an ancient settlement, as evidenced by the existence of the Neolithic dolmen of La Mota and also in other places testimonies of occupation from the Roman era have been found: tiles, amphorae, crystals, ceramics and coins. It has a very extensive surface of soft forests, pines and oaks, which, with the controlled combination of buildings, forms a privileged natural landscape, and that encourages you to discover it either on foot, by bicycle or by car.
