Olost

Olost is located in southern Lluçanès plateau, in a small valley crossed by the stream of Olost to 580 meters. The stream and the stream The Gavarresa Lluçanès, one of its tributaries, flows through parallel from north to south the village by the western slope.

On the western side of the town, find one of the best known and characteristics sources: Source of Casanova, because in it, long ago, if they had held meetings sardanas and special contests salad and tortillas during the Festival.

The Swamp Reixac, also known as Swamp Olost, Pantano de Santa Creu or reservoir of Gavarresa, is beautifully landscaped riverside retreat herons, ducks and other species, make this stretch of Gavarresa between Olost and Santa Creu Jutglar a landmark for fishermen and walkers. If you enter from Reixac and exits from the side of Santa Creu, we recommend visiting the church square and the Big House, former rendezvous of juries Lluçanès.
