Montserrat Origin Market in Olesa de Montserrat

On April 5th, Olesa de Montserrat will host the second edition of the 2025 Montserrat Origin Market! This traveling market, which will tour nine municipalities throughout the year, aims to promote the sale of local products from the Montserrat Rural Park.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a wide selection of food products, including fruits and vegetables, cheeses, cottage cheese, ratafias, wines, and prepared food with ingredients from Montserratí. In addition, the popular calendula ointment and olive oil workshop, which was very successful at the previous edition, will continue, and a new children's face-painting activity will be added, designed for the little ones. Complementary activities will also be offered for the whole family, creating a space for learning and entertainment.

This market follows the success of the first edition, held on March 16 in El Bruc, where hundreds of visitors enjoyed the unbeatable atmosphere. The Montserrat Rural Park hopes this new market will continue to promote the sale of local products and be a huge success.

The Montserrat Origin Market is a joint initiative of the Olesa de Montserrat City Council, the Montserrat Rural Park, the Barcelona Provincial Council, and the Terra i Mans Association. Its itinerary throughout 2025 will allow several municipalities in the region to become meeting points for producers, artisans, and consumers, thus promoting local culture and sustainability.
