Marganell

Province: Barcelona | Shire: Bages | Inhabitants: 317 | Extension: 13,5 Km2 | Altitude: 291 m

In a natural environment chaired by the mountains of Montserrat, Marganell is a municipality with small villages scattered mountain eastward. Overlooking the valley of Llobregat, stands Santa Cecilia of Montserrat that formerly gave name to the municipality where the Romanesque chapel restored by Puig i Cadafalch in 1928 is preserved.

The village is thought to walk. The creek provides a path of full contact with native fauna and flora.
