Lladorre

Water gives life to the high mountains of the municipality of Lladorre. If in summer the landscape adopts the blue of the waters of the many glacial lakes, in winter the snow and ice cover everything with an immense uniform white coat. The pure nature of the 6 villages of the municipality forms an integral part of the Alt Pirineu natural park, of which Certascan, the largest pond in the Pyrenees, is the great representative.

The recent history of the Alto Valle de Cardós goes hand in hand with the construction of hydroelectric plants, which take advantage of the force of the water and attract visitors to the town of Tavascan throughout the year, eager to discover the secrets hidden in the heart of the mountain.. In winter, the streets of Tavascan are filled with adventurous skiers who come to slide down the fabulous slopes of the high-mountain ski resort.
