La Vajol
La Vajol is a municipality in Alt Empordà located on the border with France, on the first flanks of the eastern Pyrenees. It is a municipality closely linked to the Republican exile, and the mountainous terrain is full of fantastic excursions for hiking or mountain biking. It has several points of interest, such as the Amunt and Avall fountains, the church of Sant Martí de la Vajol or the Canta or Negrín mine. It is a perfect place to enjoy a magnificent rural landscape but with all the necessary tourist facilities.
