Ivars de Noguera
Ivars de Noguera is located where the plain of Lleida meets the first mountainous elevations of the Pre-Pyrenees, a place where one begins to sense the abrupt geography that the visitor can find if he travels just a little further north. Bathed by the waters of the Noguera Ribagorçana river, Ivars de Noguera is an agricultural municipality surrounded by dry farming fields and fruit trees.
Its rich landscape makes a visit to this small town located in the extreme west of the Noguera region very beneficial: you can visit the urban area, which is rural, and also the natural environment, with the Santa Bárbara mountain range and the Santa Ana reservoir as the most outstanding areas.
Ivars is also known for its agricultural production. Cereals and also fruit trees are grown. The sector is so important that every year a fair is held around the peach, where the producers of the area exhibit different varieties of this fruit.
