Godall
Godall offers a unique location: the town is located in an anchorage crossed by the Caldera ravine, which was covered with a vault of more than 400 meters. The municipality includes, in addition to the town of Godall, the farmhouse and the old town of Merades, from medieval times and located on the western slope of the mountain range, and the old site of Vallmesquida. It is located in the central part of the Montsià region. Like other towns in this region, it is surrounded by impressive natural landscapes, such as Els Ports, the Montsià mountain range, which separates the municipality from the coastline, and the Ebro delta.
It is a municipality with a long history, of which the Sierra de Godall bears witness, an emblematic space with cave paintings and various examples of architecture related to the use of the land.
