El Poal
Located on a fertile plain northwest of Pla d'Urgell, Poal is a municipality of just under 600 inhabitants located six kilometers from Mollerussa. The town preserves some historical buildings of interest, mainly on Calle Mayor, among which Cal Castell stands out, the ancestral home of the Desvalls, whose family comes from one of the prominent names of the War of 1714, Antonio Desvalls, military chief of the Catalan troops inside, born in Poal in 1666
