Province: Girona | Shire: Pla de l'Estany | Inhabitants: 253 | Extension: 11,4 Km2 | Altitude: 138 m

Crespià is the municipality of Pla de l'Estany located further north in the region. In fact it limits with the Alt Empordà. As in many other towns in the territory, it retains its medieval air with most of the stone houses that make it very attractive.

It has an outstanding natural environment, with the presence of the Fluvià River, and numerous heritage attractions such as the hermitage of San Miguel de la Roca, embedded in a cliff, or the paleontological site of Incarcal, one of the most important in the Iberian Peninsula. The municipality is also famous for the Honey Fair, which has its origins in the 19th century, when Crespià was one of the most important honey export points, and for the walnut plantations.
