Cabanabona
Cabanabona is located at the southern end of the Segre Mitjà, one of the smallest municipalities in the region, which stands out for its urban center with a rural atmosphere and some buildings of heritage interest, as well as for the small mountainous elevations within the term.
The Cabanabona Town Hall is located in a three-storey stone building, formerly known as Cal Payo, which is located at an easily accessible point in the municipality between Ponts and Vilalta streets, right at the entrance to the old quarter of the town.
Cabanabona is one of the least populated municipalities in the Noguera region and offers the visitor a rural and agricultural environment, since it is located between cereal fields with some small mountainous elevations in the surroundings.
Most of the population is in the main nucleus, where there are also some interesting heritage elements, such as the church of San Juan Bautista. In the municipal district there is also the center of Vilamajor, where there is a circular tower, and the sanctuary of Sant Pol, from where you can enjoy good panoramic views.
